Ive not ever been in forums in the past and Ive seen a few terms thag I can guess at what they mean but really dont have a firm definition. These are the three that come to mind but if you are aware kf others, please post them and explain.

G.A.S. ?
Bump ?
Mark ?

Gear Acquisition Syndrome - or the burning desire from inside your soul that you need to buy something

Bump - basically bumping your thread to the top of the list. Also TTT, to the top.

Mark? Never heard that one

GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome, lusting after new gear.
Bump = a post whose purpose is to move the thread to the top of the chronological heap for a moment, call new attention to it.
Mark you were probably seeing in the context of Markbass, which is a brand of amps and pedals.

In either this (Off Topic) or Miscellaneous someone asked what NBD means. One of the responders supplied the link to the glossary of all the abbreviations. You can type NBD? in the searchbars of those topics or ferret it out yourself (shouldn't be hard - think it's still on the 1st page of either of those threads).
