There used to be a time not long ago when it did mean In My Humble Opinion.

Honest in that context makes absolutely no sense.
To me anyway.
But I'm old.
And non-native speaker.
Even had a thread about it once...

I mean, I HOPE your opinion would at least be honest. Humble implies 'that's just what I think, out of many opinions'.

I ended up bookmarking the slang threads for future use. The weirdest one I think is carrots. I don't know how that goes to not caring.... maybe like bugs boney is just staring at you waiting for you to understand what hes saying while he crunches on a carrot? Thanks for all the help. I saw GAS quite a bit.

Mark I don't remember where I saw it, if even on this forum. Might have been somewhere on facebook or something. Someone said another person was a Mark for something.

IMHO to me has always been Humble and used when trying not to give an answer that might wound the confidence/moral or insult them but still being blunt.

If we're including definitions, I'll include mine...

"Meev" (verb) - To present among forum seniors to be well-versed in TB lore, despite not even being a member of TB at the time of said lore. The term refers to ex-member Meev, who was ultimately ridiculed and shunned away for consistently displaying such behavior.
