Perhaps a curriculum section that addresses materials and expectations for various levels of skill (e.g., an intermediate section may have a few intermediate orchestral excerpts and a minor concerto, i.e., Capuzzi). A college prep section may have a sample syllibus for first year etc. Either way, a great idea that I am sure will develop into a very worthwhile resource.

Maybe in the excerpt section there could be recommended recordings that one could buy of the specific symphony/piece? It's really important for anyone learning excerpts to listen to the piece itself as much as possible, so I think providing links to a couple of different recordings could be really helpful to get one started on the right track.

Just an idea.

I have a copy of the old "curtis manual". Perhaps that's a place to start. Any places we could find lists like this?

Good idea. Suggestions? It can be hard to decide on recordings...but probably the best recommendations would be ones that could be purchased or downloaded cheaply online, but are still good. A couple that come to mind are the 1963 Karajan beethoven cycle (can be had for about $15) and Mackerras Mozart symphonies (couple bucks a disc)
