Certain Bass....

For the money, the J-style Certain Bass 'Elita' is remarkable...For under $750, you get an amazing J bass with an incredible set-up...David Certain should have the market cornered on affordable J and P basses!

We'd all like to see pics of your bass, please. Also if you could let us know how long you've owned it, and what other basses you have compared it against, that would be great.

OK, enough of the "IBTL" posts.

I'm interested about the bass, too, so why not give us a little more info on it??

And keep the BS out of this thread, please. We've had enough of that in every other Certain Bass thread that's been started here.

Glad it works well for you (that's not so hard, is it fellas?).

Mike

Nah,...

I do have a hard time with the lack of continuity between the eBay listings. They are slightly confusing and a bit unprofessional.

Seems like if you want one the best thing to do is contact the guy.

I'm also having trouble telling it the headstocks have in fact changed. There are so many outdated pictures that it's hard to determine.

Hopefully we can keep this thread actually open.

The Certain bass threads I've read all get derailed. Owners come on here and "rave" about heir basses but where are the pictures and detailed descriptions?

The only one I've seen by a TBer was a "Bootleg" Jaco clone that had a Fender logo on the headstock, and the owner actually did not have it in his possession...just posted a picture before it's arrival.

I don't think Certain will have the market cornered on affordable J and P basses, Fender has already done that with their Squier and MIM Fenders.

You say the "Elita" is remarkable...Why? Do you actually own one? Where are the pictures and the description?

Also you say they are "affordable" I would only buy used I bet their resell value would be pretty low.
