I guess it would be more of a "put together" than a build.
From rendering to reality:

WOW! Great man! You used my mockup (I think)! That makes me feel special that someone did a bass after a crazy idea of mine!

Looks nice!

Is it very heavy? Tone?

Just curious, why didn't you use a grain filler?

What did you do to get the finish off the frets?

pushin 9+ pounds!
the tone is completly jazzy....its smooth and punchy at the same time!

the grain was too pretty to cover up. i didnt want to go natural because it would have been poop brown. but i liked the grain....

i taped off the frets and used #0000 steel wool very lightly just to get the clear coat off so it doesnt buzz.

crazy! I kinda dig - what'd you use for inlays? adhesive?

sticker inlays from jockmo on ebay. they were black pearl, but i painted them black. didnt work as well as i would have hoped.

Lovely work dude, lovely.

One thing, that neck is 21 fret, not 22.

yeah i know, my bad.

That Mahogany body would have looke:hiding:d real nice natural!

im not a fan of poop basses

Which Duncan pickups did you use? They look like Quarter Pounders.

Verrry nice!

seymour duncan hot pickups

Pink----Purple----What's the difference?;)

big difference IMO.
the pictures are off...think plum crazy purple. or a real deep purple.
