I guess it would be more of a "put together" than a build.

I think that covers the just of it.
I painted it purple and named her Lila.

overall she looks and sounds amazing, im so happy that i have a complete one of a kind bass all of my own.

Just curious, why didn't you use a grain filler?

What did you do to get the finish off the frets?

I agree, I'm not sure if it's the lighting but it looks downright pink-ish, almost like purpleheart, it's real pretty.

pushin 9+ pounds!
the tone is completly jazzy....its smooth and punchy at the same time!

the grain was too pretty to cover up. i didnt want to go natural because it would have been poop brown. but i liked the grain....

i taped off the frets and used #0000 steel wool very lightly just to get the clear coat off so it doesnt buzz.

sticker inlays from jockmo on ebay. they were black pearl, but i painted them black. didnt work as well as i would have hoped.

big difference IMO.
the pictures are off...think plum crazy purple. or a real deep purple.
