I'd like to draw on your experience and ask for your thoughts on my plan to put together a pedalboard for practising at home and playing along with MP3s, entirely through headphones. Alternatively I might use this with a power amp and cabs. I don't play live anymore. I suspect it may be overkill, but I want to get the best possible sound out of my high-end basses. May I please ask for your opinions, advice, suggestions? I am not into cab-sim and adding distortion/grit.
