Mike Dirnt refinish

Just placed it on... too lazy to remove screws... not so bad... unfortunately I dropped my soldering iron on it and made a 'spot'... kinda beat up anyway... Roger at Jeanine's Pickguards made a template for me (he says all Indonesian Squiers are different)... think I'll order a B/W/B- just for variety :smug: ... already have four basses w/black p/g's... needed some diversity for 'the family'!! Thx for the idea!

(btw... p/j on the floor- soon to be 'Re-Ranch' Fiesta Red w/tort p/g & Dimarzio p/u's... patiently waiting- to the right)

The neck on mine is its one weak point. It is way too thin for my tastes. I am still trying to talk myself into spending $300 for a replacement neck for a bass I bought for $100.

... far as Squier's go... might try to trade for a Vintage Modified P neck... different headstock- but 'fatter'... not $300.00

Mine is my 'tweener' from my '51 RI P and my Jazz...
