Purchased a Squier Mike Dirnt P from TB (thx Bass FreeLee)... had a friend refinish in Fender Sonic Blue... added Fender '62 pickup... pickguard from Janines pickguards... D'Addario chromes and bridge cover... happy now!!

Just placed it on... too lazy to remove screws... not so bad... unfortunately I dropped my soldering iron on it and made a 'spot'... kinda beat up anyway... Roger at Jeanine's Pickguards made a template for me (he says all Indonesian Squiers are different)... think I'll order a B/W/B- just for variety 
... already have four basses w/black p/g's... needed some diversity for 'the family'!! Thx for the idea!

Personally I like the black better, but the white has more of a 'classic' feel to it.

The neck on mine is its one weak point. It is way too thin for my tastes. I am still trying to talk myself into spending $300 for a replacement neck for a bass I bought for $100.
