Recently I've been reading up on some cab design and acoustic physics topics and want to give a public thank you to BFM. I've learned a lot from his straight-shooting posts, including just why my Epi 210-115 stack works so well. Too bad that still hasn't prevented me from wanting to try a pair of vertical 210s:D

There are a handful of guys on here who when they answer a question, I don't question it (anymore). Bill is probably the number one guy for that. I learn a lot from all the top guys on here, but Bill is the one who got me on the road to understanding how audio really works.

Yep.

After reading a bunch of Bill's good ideas, I went ahead and built and Omni10. Totally buttkicking speaker cabinet.

Last night I debuted my new O15TB (2-12"s/Delta 12LFA's) in the club. I'm here to tell ya this is the common cure for any 8-10. I used to play through a 4-10/1-18 horse, this Omni has waaaay more kick and definition.. Used the same 12"s I've gigged w/for years, sonically and tonally the Omni is vastly superior. If I hadn't built this myself, I would have argued those weren't the same woofers.. If you're skimming the sites trying to decide whether to pull the trigger and build a BFM cab, folks to me its a no-brainer. I've played bass nearly 30 years, and after the first set last night all I could think of was how in he** I played this long without this cab...

Hey Jimmy....how's it goin'? I was wondering if you could give a link to some of Bill's designs..? 30 years ago I used to make my own cabs and I'd be really interested to see what he's got.
