Any ideas for a boost pedal?

I love my Effector 13 Torn's Peaker so I would recommend the Punch Love unheard :D

Some other choices (all prices new, not used):

Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive. It is a mild to medium OD pedal. But with the clean all the way up, it is a clean boost. About $120 US I believe.

The Ibanez PhatHed can be a clean boost although the pedal itself is a bit noisy. About $50 US or so.

ART Tube MP. This is a tube microphone preamp/DI that works great with bass. It is a little flimsy for gigging. $80 US.

Fulltone Fat Boost, but I think it will be $150 US.

Boss ODB-3.

When you put the blend control all-the-way to dry-side (CCW), the pedal functions as clean-boost (or cut, or unity) with a bass and treble control that are also each boost or cut.

At any rate: it WILL function as a pure clean-boost - for like US$80.

any other comments on the low-gear thruster? ive been eyeing that off for a while.
I've never tried the low-gear thruster, but I have built an Electro Harmonix Hogs Foot clone. I would not consider the Hogs Foot a clean boost. It is a bass boost, i.e. it emphasises the bass frequencies.
