I don't notice a difference in the mix but playing solo the ebony has a little more ping. Sounds great with slap especially. That Faded Vintage sunburst looks ridiculously good with the black hardware and ebony board. Iām a die hard fan of maple boards but my next Ray will have to be black hardware with black ebony board. Sounds more piano-like to my ears, to me ebony produces clearer tones than maple
I can see why!
Itās not a Stingray Special⦠but it is quite desirable with the 2 EQ preamp and string through.Sorry, if this is too ordinary
But there are special markings on the neck. OK now?

Yes this is Stingray Special Bass Club (Model name) BUT if posted in regular Stingray Club it would be considered Special with many there being enviousItās not a Stingray Special⦠but it is quite desirable with the 2 EQ preamp and string through.
That 2band 78ā is nice but I find my 2019 Special 4H that weighs 8.2lbs and feels orgasmic to play, way more desirable.OK, consider me out of the Special Sting Ray Club then. I'll try to join a regular club later.![]()
