If I'm understanding correctly? If so you're describing a logic clamp, which, good news, can be implemented in firmware. Probably just take me a couple nights to implement and test out...

It turns out this bass is the Combustion Nashville Edition. I played a long time today and I was finally shown how the electronics work. It is not as straight forward as my JT5, but I like. I think I might get rid of some stuff and take it home.
That is a sweet looking bass. Dingwall is such high quality . I’m sure you would make good use of it.
