Danelectro fab chorus review

I've bought this pedal about a few weeks ago and I have to say this pedal sounds pretty good for a chorus pedal that costs 15 dollars. I've read some reviews on a few websites saying that this pedal works well on bass. turns out it was true. it does work well on bass. anyways, this pedal has a smooth, retro chorus sound. this pedal contains three controls. a mix control(which mixes the dry signal with the effected signal), a speed control, and a depth control. the pedal does get a little loud if you turn up the mix control. this pedal works good on active and passive bass guitars. it handles low b strings real good. it also sounds cool when I use my digitech xbd bass overdrive/distortion pedal with it. the casing is made of plastic, but it's made of thick plastic. I've gigged with plastic pedals before and I'm always careful with them. I've recently gigged with this pedal. I was given good compliments about my sound. If you're looking for a good chorus pedal but you're on a tight budget, I definitely recommend this pedal.

The MusicGoRound in Cedar Rapids had one of these last time I was in there. I was thinking of picking up a 1Spot from them so maybe I'll ask about trying the pedal out if it's still around.

It's always a good idea to purchase a power supply if you plan to buy pedals. it does come in handy if the battery is drained on the pedals. the visual sounds 1spot 9-volt adaptor is a good choice for a power supply. it's very compatible on danelectro pedals. and yes, the casing on this pedal is made of plastic, but it's made of thick plastic. it does appear to be durable and gig worthy.
