There are no debates over what his current rig looks like - heck, I even personally did an overview of his amps and amp settings in the Amps forum a while back, using info straight from his tech (info that is widely available on TB now).
The only "debate" I know of is over his old effects, because it's not entirely clear what he used in some older RHCP songs... especially when it comes to envelope filters.
But that doesn't matter now - if any of those old songs are played live, you can expect that he's using something on his board for it now.![]()
I know that he used a DOD fx25 for quite a while in early RHCP stuff...but then again who didn't know that already?
Here is a pic of Flea's board that Higgie posted in the old 'Pedalboards of the Stars' thread

I recall there being an NYC Big Muff in there; has he stopped using it?
I have never heard of him using an FX25 either
I thought the story went something like in his older records he had a Q-tron with a near dead battery in it?
He specifically calls attention to it and then plays with it in his 'instructional' dvd.

But I think he has only acquired the big muff very recently.
Is this the clip you are refering to?He specifically calls attention to it and then plays with it in his 'instructional' dvd.
