They're memes from days past (just slightly before my time unfortunately). The last person that tried talking TO the quintar got so lambasted for caring that much that he's never come back. That's right-- self imposed exile.

Carrots, that's the easy one: thread/post/poll about nothing in particular? Throw some carrots in.

Ok, that's a start. Definitely not prize-worthy, but a start.

Regarding Carrots, I'm interested in the orgin, ie. which thread or series of threads led to the inclusion of carrots as an 'i dont care' option in polls and whatnot.

The prize will be small, inexpensive and 100% totally unique and cool, and I will mail it to the person who answers the questions in full.

Search for all threads made by The Qintar. They are quite epic.

The Carrots option comes from John Turner if I recall correctly. It's been around for years and years here.
