Well, it's Monday 4/20, around 8:30, and...

there are no less than 5 LMIIs for sale IN A ROW
in the TB Amps Classifieds.
These are all on the 1st page.

What's going on? Did these just go way out of style overnight, or.....??

I thought people generally liked them.

Ideas?

I'm keeping mine. Never quite understood the need to hop on every single new model as it comes out and off perfectly good gear. OTOH, now is a perfect time to get an LMII.

Agreed, but this is TB and its how it works. The next amp/cabinet will be simply stunning for a while and then fade into reality, which in the case of the lm2 is apparently "pretty damn good".

+1 on the new model.........all though I can see why people would want the LMIII......it has some nice features that the LMII doesn't. Although, I if I was to get a LMIII, I would keep the LMII as a backup for awhile. Just to make sure I didn't get a LMIII lemon.....If an amp is going to fail.....it will fail in the first couple of months. Better safe than sorry, you dig??

I think you'll see a lot of that in micro amps period, the technology seems to be going at the speed of sound lately - I expect it'll stabilize eventually. I'm no expert on the tech but it seems like they're radically improving class d amps and switch mode power supplies, so we see monsters like the EA Iamp pro and the shuttlemax. Right now there seems to be a lot of juggling going on with all that stuff.

Could be wrong, just my perception :)

Bump for a great amp at a great price.

My LMII saved my ass this weekend. I load my large rack setup into a gig this past Sat and it wouldn't power up. I would have been screwed had I not had my LMII in the car as a backup.

They'll get my LMII when they pry it from my dead cold fingers.... or something like that. :bassist:
The problem with the used ones being sold is IMO they are not selling them at a low enough price to make it worth not buying a new one. IMO IMO and IMO
$99 off of the new unit price doesn't make it worth losing the 2 year warranty. (Once again IMO)

Too funny. Not only was there a typo, but upon reading it back it I appears as though I hijacked some for sale threads as an opportunity to talk about my favorite subject, "me."

Definitely not my intent... what I was trying to convey was that an LMII is a great 6 lb, tax deductible, insurance policy for a working musician.

I'm so thankful that I bought one a while back.
