After a 6 month wait, it finally arrived; my new Vigier Arpege Series 3. Custom ordered in "Light Sapphire" with 24 frets and highly flamed body..

Body-flamed maple/alder/flamed maple
Neck-90% maple/10% carbon fiber
Fingerboard-Phenolic
Electronics - 18V with 12 position prestored ROM settings
and Volume, Tone, Balance, and in/out Phase.
Tuners/Straploks Schaller.
Bridge by Vigier with thru-body stringing.

X-mas in October !!!!!!

Thanks!..

I just got finished stringing it up with Rotosound SM66's
(40-100) and making some very minor string height adjustments, setting things up to my liking, the action on this bass is so low it's shocking. I'm still experimenting with all the ROM presets, the differences in them are kinda subtle. I've never owned a bass with a phenolic fingerboard, harmonics really jump out at you. There's a TON of possibilities with the electronics, It's gonna take a while to find my way around on them...So far I'm blown away by this instrument.

The ROM settings are stored in a chip on the circuit board, they're generated by 2 parametric filters. The prestored settings can also be tweaked with the balance, tone, and in/out of phase pots. The sounds are super-duper hi-fi, and the single coil Benedetti pickups have a nice, edgy tone to them..

Nice to see that some french basses can be exported to the USA.
These are great basses!!! the sound is full, rich and warm.
You have a really nice one, love the finish and the wood are simply beautiful!!!
You gonna have a funky good time!!! Vigier makes great basses(and guitars also ,if you have a guitarist)... Enjoy!
