My Turn......Logo help as well...

Wow you guys did a great job for Mr. Holt.

Now I'm curious what you could come up with for me.

I'm torn between 2 ways of doing it.

1. My last name Brons

2. Co. name Brons Custom Basses

I'd like something sleek, and subtle. Sorry I dont have any ideas, ever time I think I've got a good one, someone has already used it.

Thanks in advance for any help....

Something along these lines or a little fancier?

I like the first one A LOT!

This should DEFINATELY be a major thing to look into because when I was in the market to save some cash and maybe get a no-name 6 string bass, the logos really threw me off...
BRICE and GALVESTON were just their name printed and it looked VERY cheap!

The top logo is the coolest and if that was all that was on the headstock (in a location like warwicks) was that doodle line, I would look into it further

With a name like "Brons" why not "Brons Age Custom Basses" or just " Brons Age". Its different and cool. I would even incorporate arrow heads into my designs. there is so many MTD's,SSD's, blah blah custom basses, it would stick out more. I wish i had a unique name like yours. all i have to work with is henderson...

ALSO a GOOD IDEA... Good marketing point.

If you need a logo, consider this:

That logo should lead to a corporate identity.

That means that among other things you should consider where that logo will go... like the headstock as someone mentioned.

Then there is the labeling, the business cards, website applications, and such. Of course there is also that thing about resizing and us being able to read/see the logo at small measurements.

Chances are you need an "image" (in this case a stylized/abstract B or some sort of figure) and typography (the logotype "Brons _____" ). The image would go in the headstock while the typography would serve other applications.

I am still just a graphic design student but as a designer I would ask more about your business... AND ask you for drawings of the headstock! Why? Well, if I have a shape of a headstock I could draw the B or whatever to fit the headstock design.

I would draft like heck and then show you the options, and then you'd choose. Then we would look at fonts and such and on to Illustrator where a vectorized logo would be created ad sent via .ai or .gif file, or better yet Freehand and create all variations of corporate communications.

I would then bill you for like $500  because I'd have to. :D So nevermind. :p

Go with full_bleeds 1st but alter the figure to fit the headstock.
