That indeed, is the perfect individual solution. Knowledge is power in this case, you may not like other folks discussing the topic and that is your perogative...I'd recommend the original poster do a search myself.
OTOH, If I saw someone about to walk in front of a bus, I'd try to stop them, even if I didn't really like them that much. They may not appreciate my advice. But if in the end they chose to step in front of a bus, they would have done so with full knowledge of what they were doing.

Also, im still sure that its only certain things (B series) that are being moved overseas.

Nope, in fact it is the lot. The B series thing was the first plan, but that changed last summer.
Really? Everything? I was told that the tube heads and the pro stuff was staying US made. B-series, combos, and pedals were going to Asia. As recently as two weeks ago.
Are you ok? As far as employment goes that is. How about the the engineering staff and other support? Is that going to Asia as well?

Surely his claims can be taken as fact considering the poster of said claim works for the company in question?
Kelly, not sure if you're aware of this or not but as far as I remember Jerrold is employed by the corporation which owns Ampeg.
Unless he left recently.

Yes, I know he works (worked?) for them. However, he did not give specifics . He may just be worried about his job and lashing out at his employer? He may be repeating rumor that he has heard going around where he works? Maybe he got his info from an internal memo?

The owner of a local music store told me that he called the Ampeg factory in Arkansas and that they said that they told him everything was going overseas and that they had 28 SVT Classics left. He ordered 20 of them.
