Wait, did you do the inlay work too? That would be something. I have to say that I don't hate it. I don't think it would look bad being played. However, cutting chunks of wood out of the body of a bass can do serious things to its tone, sustain, and balance.
go easy guys, he may have massacred a defenceless bass (lefty at that

well at least its a newer epiphone ebo
and not a epiphone from 1965
this is what happened to a lot of the guitars and basses thru the 50's, 60's, and 70's
this and destruction from hurricanes, floods, and custom refinishers
and it is one of the reasons that when you find a 62 jazz bass if it is in playable condition is fairly stock
and regardless of the condition of the original finish
the asking price starts at about $20k
and not a epiphone from 1965

Looks great man,that probably took a decent amount of work.
dont let these other peoples comments bug ya, different tastes for different people I suppose, but my main question is , how does the bass/play sound?
