New Bass

Traded my Pink '54 RI Fender and a Dunlop Bass Wah for this beauty:

and as you can see (if you look for it), it's a nice trans-white finish, not solid. I wonder if it's a trans finish, or if the finish is a white but it's a thin finish...... :hmm: hmmmm

Oh, and does anybody know what EXACTLY the 3 way switch does? I know it does something with the humbucker. I'm thinking series/parallel/single coil, but I'm not sure. Nor am I sure on which position does which if I am right.

Edit: Just found it:

Up : Front Coil of Bridge
Middle : Bridge(Full)
Down : Rear Coil of Bridge

The sound is good. Pretty versatile, but with the mid switch up, it's very bassy. Too bassy and muddy for me. I keep it down (mids at a higher frequency). It's got a coil split for the humbucker, a 2 band EQ, 2 different pickups, and active/passive. It's got a good B string and feels solid.
