I've got an SVT3 Pr4o + 4x10hlf that I use with my heavy alternative band. Thinking about an Eden WT-400 to replace the 3Pro. Will the Eden keep up with 2 loud guitars and drums? I'm speaking of the voicing of the amp and not just the wattage.

I still just don't know. I wouldn't put either head in a rock setting personally, so I can't recommend it. Another thing to keep in mind is whether or not you want tube overdrive. If you're used to having that on an Ampeg head, then the Eden might not give you what you want since it's not possible. My recommendation is still the wt800b in the Eden lineup for rock venues, even if your 410 is only rated for 500 watts.I've never had volume issues with the 3Pro. I turn on the graphic EQ, max out the level, turn the master volume to 3/4= plenty loud! The 3Pro is a bit muddy, I'm thinking the WT400 will be a bit punchier with more clarity. I really don't want to get a WT800 due to cost and the HLF is only rated at 500watts. I've heard that bad things happen to Ampeg cabs that are constantly pushed past their limits.

Great rigWell, the big plus of this rig over a wt400/410 setup is the height. A 410 is just blowing past your knees, and you have to get way out in front to begin hearing it, or get it up off the floor which sometimes makes it sound thin, ESPECIALLY if you don't have the headroom in your amp to compensate. This is a WT400/D210XST/D212XLT rig. It can stand up to a couple of guitars....A WT800B or C would give you quite a bit more power than this rig (more than double since it can be bridged mono @ 2 ohms), but the WT400 is quite capable of small/medium gigs, say up to 500 seat venues, easy. And the 400 has Eden's best tone. Oh, and as said above^, when I need more power than this, I will just add a power amp and use the 400 for practice and as a pre for large gigs.
