Love at first sight?

Not necessarily "love at first sight" but I find it difficult to be interested in a girl at all unless I'm "struck" by her the first time I see her. Something in my brain just clicks that she is 100% my type and I focus all attention on her if I'm single. The last 2 relationships I've had have started this way, either she walks into a room or I walk into a room and immediately I see her in a different light than anyone else.

I guess you could say I don't consider a relationship unless that happens? I wouldn't call it love at first sight though.

this sort of happened to me recently. and after a couple of dates im even more attracted to the girl. it is a great feeling.

Ok, first of all, the "pee in her butt" comment... Bloody made my day. :D:D

There is no such thing as love at first sight, IMHO. Lust is what's felt first, and lust is what's mistaken for love by those who are naive and ignorant.

I feel very strongly that you cannot truly love someone until you've been to Hell and back with them and can still look them in the eye.

Yes.

Met the love of my life on Monday.
First date, Saturday
"I love you" on Sunday
Never been happier or more sure of anything in my life.
:D

You dropped the L-Bomb within a week??? Wait, what.. why.. how..
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sorry to be a downer but that's doesn't usually foreshadow well for a relationship.. I hope I'm wrong but he's probably freaked-out this morning and figuring out a way out..

Nope. He said it first. It was instant connection. Neither one of us are the type to play games.

The cool thing is our friends and family are totally happy for both of us. THEY can see the change in both of us. And we have some mutual friends who are really excited because they've known both of us for a while and think we are awesome together.

Never been more positive of anything before.

Love? Lust? Met my wife on a blind date that I had with her roommate. Roomy asked if she could bring a friend & I said, "sure, I'll bring one of my buddies along too." I knew it when I saw her walk into the bar (mtg place) and I walked up to her & asked, "Laura?" "No, I'm Glenda. This is Laura." My wife still says that I looked like someone had just told me that my dog had been run over. I tried to engage Laura in meaningful conversation (she was my date after all) but it wasn't working. My eyes & thoughts kept going back to Glenda. After asking where, and being directed towards, the ladies room, the two girls switched seats upon returning. Glenda said, "I like this better."

That was twenty years ago. I proposed to her a year later from the exact same seats. Well, I was on one knee at the time. Eighteen years of marriage, two wonderful children and I still remember the first time I saw her. Love? Lust? I don't know. But we still got it! :hyper:
