I just received a Tascam MP-BT1 and all I can say is WOW. What a cool tool to have for practicing. Formidable song storage on the hard drive, great presets and a nice EQ to work with, and great battery life. Using this with my Westone UM-2 ears should save a bit on the power bill compared to my 750 GK 1001RB-II.

Ever have the chance to get one? DO IT! :hyper:

I've had one for about two months now. It's been a great tool to have. The things that I like the most are that it makes out to be a good headphone amp with good built in features like a metronome and tuner. I use the "variable speed auditions" features a lot, but I would like to be able to have finer controls over it. Going from -50x to -32x is a pretty big jump when you are trying to work through a song that has a really fast original tempo. I end up having to switch over to the metronome to build my way up to -32x speeds (which I could do on my own without the tool). I also wish there were better controls on the looping. It seems buggy to me and sometimes it's hard to get it to start and stop at exactly the points I need it to. But other than that, I use it almost every time I practice now and I definitely feel I've been improving as a player since I've started using it.

On the older cd units (I just bought one) can you eliminate one of the stereo channels? I have not found a way to do this yet. Just channel splitting C-B,B-C Stereo.

Please help.
