No, it's not a sticker. They masked it off and shot over it. So, it's actually on a deeper level of paint.
That way it looks like the old Checker magnetic signs. WAY COOL!

This bass has curves like a woman :eek:

So much fun to play. The neck is slim and fast, and the neck only gets an itty-bit bigger at the higher frets, than it is at the nut (whee!!!)

I wear my bass kinda low (hip level) and I disagree that the bass is better to play sitting down... this bass is super comfortable standing up, for me. And I love the way it looks -- retro and somewhat bizarre. I love the little "nub" it has for an upper horn, it always makes me laugh.

Sure, it doesn't intonate all the way up the neck as well as a 1,500 dollar bass... this is a great rock&roll bass though, with tons of tonal flexibility.
