I have owned an Azola Bugbass for five years and have used it no more than five times. It's a beautiful instrument, literally in mint condition and with a wonderful sound, but I find I resort either to my acoustic upright or an electric bass. At $1400, with the original case (also in mint condition), I think it's a steal. And I'm prepared to handle shipping. Will send pictures if you are interested. Thanks, Paul

Will sell for $1300, with the original case (also in mint condition), or a comparable best offer. And I'm prepared to handle shipping. Will send pictures if you are interested. Thanks, Paul

Is there a way you can post some mp3's of how this bass sounds;
ie, some major scales and blues scale(12 bar blues)?
thanks...

Mr. Ecko: just saw your posting. I have the bass in my office, as I almost shipped it out to a buyer, and I'm not sure just how I'll create the MP3 file, but I'm glad to try (perhaps built-in windows recording software on my Thinkpad)--but first, two thoughts. First, it's original strings (as they're truly not used), and it sounds like every well-built Azola of its era, so the Azola folks may have a sound file as well (I used to correspond with Jill when I bought it). Second, before I try to create one, are you seriously interested? I'm due to be traveling a good bit of this week and it will be a stretch' to make time to create a file, but I'll do so if you're genuinely thinking about the instrument. Thanks much, Paul [email protected]

I'm not seriously interested, just curious? (trying to
decide between UB or EUB)
I checked the azola site and did not find any sound files.
To create a sound file in windows, just plug you bass
in to the mic jack and use windows sound recorder.
Use the save as option and choose windows media audio for the format.
