I recorded an album with a friend of mine a while back, and we got some various musicians in on it, but didn't really have a band. There was some interest from some people to have us play out, so we put together a 4 piece.
Last night we had our first rehearsal, and hit the record button while we tried out some new tunes. Here are two of them.
Link Removed - Just a jam tune to get warmed up. Really simple. Way too much noodling around on my part. I was just feeling it out a bit.
Link Removed - This was a little more rehearsed (this was the third time through) but we were still playing with lead sheets and feeling things out a bit.
The guitarist and I have played a lot together. The guitarist and the drummer have played a lot together. The guy on keys is completely new to the mix.
I don't even know how to classify this music. More examples from the album are in my signature.
