Peavey Grind 5BXPNTB soapbars question

I have a question regarding _mechanical_construction_ of stock Peavey soapbars that come factory-installed on 5-string Grind basses (bxp - ntb), the ones that are mounted with 4-screws and the same dimensions as emg 40HZ soapbars.

(I have a new-ish grind which is still under warranty which I don't want to void until expired, that's why I don't want to unscrew and see for myself, however I need that information to form an educated decision in the meantime, to collect the relevant parts)

I'm quite pleased with the tone of the stock Peavey soapbars I'm getting out of my particular bass, but they are very sensitive to the load impendance (inconsistent), that's why I'm considering a certain solution.

The main question is:
- are the installed peavey soapbars epoxy-filled (like bartolinis, mecs and emgs) or are they "empty" - i.e. if the coils are accessable if pickups are unscrewed from the bass body?

- is there somebody that has upgraded the Grind-5 to EMG's 40's and has/can take the picture of leftover _stock_ soapbars' _bottom_ and post it here?

Alternative question:
- do the stock PU's work well (or _would_ work) with emg-btc prewired + added a passive "vintage" tone control (or the mec's equivalent)

Thank you!
(I know I'm posting a demanding question, I really appreciate any helping answer)
