what I did....
Scrapped the neck, pups, electronics, knobs.
Rubbed down the old body, sprayed black undercoat, sprayed with a marble effect metalic paint, very very runny stuff, no thinners were needed, light coat of that paint then dabbed with a plastic bag to create the effect, Lackered. Same with the headstock.
MIM Pups installed, US Fender Knobs, US Fender Pots/electronics. US Fender Neckplate, BadAss ii Bridge, new strings (although forgot what I ended up putting on)

Job done, nearly, Still havent put the string tree on and I wouldnt mind getting a black Scratchplate but it'll have to be specially made cause its not a fender replacement.

Be nice to hear what you think, Improvments I should maybe make, The pups sound really good which supprised me, but might look to change them in the future.

Very nice! Imaginative technique with great effect. I give it an A!
Josh

Wasnt very imaginitive really, the paint is made for doing that with, probably why it runs like water.

Thanks for all the nice words, Think a Pup upgrade is in order but im really pleased with the tone its producing so I might not bother for a while. Strange really, I didnt expect MIM pups to be any good.
