What kind of bass is this?

Nathan Watts w/ Stevie Wonder on Ellen 02/06/09

Doesn't look like the usual A-C I've seen him with lately.

p.s. The gospel/fusion intro is deadly!

From what I understand, Nathan switches between the Alleva and various Bossa J model basses (for a more modern tone). That looks like a Bossa.

That band is smoking!

Ahh, that's right, I forgot about the Bossa.

Seeing how comfortable Watts looks playing with the bass balanced on his belly makes me want to get fat myself.

Stevie Wonder is one of those artists to listen to when learning how to groove. His music is a must have for all those young up and comers learning where to put the notes. I still learn from his CD's every time I pop one in.
