eat it!!!!!

Alabama just this past week repealed our outdated "Blue Laws". We'll be able to finally buy beer with a decent alcohol content, but still don't know if local breweries will be able to sell their products off-premises. I'll do some investigating, and if so, take you up on that.

PS - What did Gard send you? Was it some NC local brew, or did he find some Abita for you out of the New Orleans/Baton Rouge area?

Adron, no Abita for the Mak-ster, although that would be a good choice of course (I'm particularly fond of the Turbo Dog for dark and the Restoration Pale Ale for those times when a less heavy beer is called for :D ). I sent him a 6 of our local stuff, my personal favorite right now:

And Maki, get ready to send me some beer, you're ON. Even if the NBA undermines the better team so they can get their dream matchup, I'll be rooting against those LA posuers....

:spit:

(...however, I'm still bettin' on the Magic ending it tonight, and taking the Lakers in 6! :hyper: )

Gard you're on. If Magic or the Cav's win, then I'll send you a sixer of my favorite Californian Pale Ale. If Lakers win, you send me the same barley elixir you sent last time.

Joe for the sake of actually shipping something that's not going to wind us up in prison, then let's stick to beer. Send me some Colorado micro-goodness (except Fat Tire - it's just too easy to get here) and I'll send you something good from California. You still in?

What the status there, my thirsty friend?

I think the status here is that you're going to be sending me some flavorful treats from Southern California. On the off chance that the NBA decides to repeal some more of Kobe's technicals just to make sure the games are slanted in the Lakers' favor, and LA is actually able to beat Orlando, I'll hit you up with something from www.lazymagnolia.com. Probably some Indian Summer or Southern Pecan. This is a brew out of Kiln, Mississippi. I don't think we're having any luck w/ Alabama's new laws going into practice yet, so none of our local flavors are available off-premises for now.
