Let's see, we have:

Barefaced
Lo Phat
Mojo Sonic
Audio Kinesis
Baer

Then there's fEarful, which is not a commercial enterprise, and Bill Fitzmaurice, whose plans have been around for longer than TB if I'm not mistaken.

I'm just thinking of the individual or mom'n'pop-sized cab companies where the main person is a regular participant on TB. Anyone to add to that list?

And I'm still quite baffled how it happened - I just wanted a better cab for me, and then once I'd sourced all the parts it made sense to build a few to cover my costs. But then more people wanted them, etc...

The irony is that I designed a cab to be the loudest and fattest for its weight as possible, to minimise the effort of load-ins, yet now I spend far more time than ever before moving heavy boxes!

Zac will clean up someday, but it won't be by building cabs. He's got a lot of talent and knowledge. There are many other areas in life where he can make a better living with those kinds of materials and engineering skills.

Ha!! Why don't you move over to the states and settle down in say....South Mississippi!! (LOL) (actually, New Orleans is close, and you can bring greenboy with you. We'll have a marvelous time!)

And hundreds more emails and a few long distance phone calls! We covered a hell of a lot of ground of different design concepts before both converging on roughly the same solution.

I'd really love to check out one of these cabs someday, the ones with a 6" mid driver coupled with a 15. Not likely to build myself, as my area of expertise is far away from anything wooden, and the cabs I use now are more than adequet for what I'm doing musically. They are very intriguing nonetheless, and someday I can say, I was there when it all began.
