id play the s*** out of that, that bass is too brutal for any band to even think about playing, its TOO metal

ahh okay, just makin sure there, i rather like my helmet, even though im pretty sure it wont stop anything from what ive seen.

they will stop frag just fine. I do have one aroudn here with a peice of 155 shell stuck through it (not mine) and a buddy of mine got a 7.62x39 to pass right over his ear and deflect away from his brain housing group, so they are at least somewhat beneficial.

i never knew he actually PLAYED that, i thought it was just another prop onstage...
something that isn't overly showy, looks good but doesn't overly stand out so that the bassist, stands on for the blazing speed
