EP on my 50s Pöllmann.
BE-Spiro mittel (3/4 length) ADG- Spiro mittel (4/4 length) on my 100+ years old Fivestring. The stringlength is 108cm. the 3/4 strings give me more tension. i guess it is similar to using 4/4 stark-E-string. is anyone else playing this mix???

I got 2 new strings on my bass. The other 2 have been on there for 4 years.

50's Hofner Plywood: Superflexible E, Pirastro Flexocor '92 A D G. Pretty dark sound on this bass, but it is generally a bright instrument. Balances pretty nicely.
Late 1800's Tyrolean is currently strung with Spirocore Weich.

I thought Jargars were suppose to not last very long, I've been wanting to try the med set but I'm not intill the fortes die do to how much I dig'um, so I can wait.

Eudoxa's for about a month, Velvet Blue before that(for about a year) and Spirocores before that....

Spiro Weichs 3/4 length on the E,A & D and a Spiro Mittel on the G; 4/4 length. Really works great!
