I have an Ibanez ATK bass that I cannot seem to find any info on. The first thing that is odd is the stamp on the back of the headstock reads USA0706 0034
I am assuming it is a USA made Ibanez I know Ibanez had a US facility in Bensalem PA that I believe is now closed. I am guessing the model is a 706 and the serial number is 0034. I could be wrong on this?
The bass has the Bunker style floating headstock which I have never seen on any other ATK, the neck has some serious flame maple figuring on the fret board and the body appears to be a nicely figured Ash. The Ibanez logo is chrome...
With the description above and the photos, I really hope one of the resident experts can give me some info on my bass. It is a killer bass and sounds great, it is just somewhat of a mystery...
