For sale MBass Placid Blue Custom 4 String w/ Delano Pickups - John Maghini

This is a beautiful bass that I hate to part with but am needing to acquire some funds at the moment. Purchased here on Talkbass from another great TBass'r and it's been an amazing bass this past year for me.
Custom MBass built by maser luthier John Maghini. Placid Blue with matching headstock. Maple neck with Rosewood fretboard and white binding. Has Delano jazz pickups. Weighing in at right around 9lb 4oz. Been in a smoke-free, pet-free environment and comes in the custom MBasses ProTec gigbag, which is an awesome bag in and of itself. The previous owner had an Audere active control plate installed, which will be included should you wish to change it back. I prefer passive basses so I changed it back to passive when I received it. I also put other knobs on but will include John's original black knobs. There are two pics showing John's writing on the back of the headstock. One shows how it was a couple of years ago, but with cleaning, it has faded. I actually talked to John who graciously said were I ever to be in the CT area he would re-do that for me.
