    I wouldn't think it does anything, going to empty pins. Maybe it does something on the 500E upwards. Those models have an EQ bypass and a mids EQ switch.

the little platform by bridge is just chillin, its got a mild adhesive holding it there, its for a roland gk 3b and it works really well on here but ive been using that a lot more on a different bass and this one is so handsome i may remove it, its perfectly placed though so i try to be sure

bridge is stock, strap locks are wick but not stock ones, all other hardware is hipshot, electronics: Lace alumitone single coil neck/bridge pickups. the neck thumb rest is slotted and protrudes to a height equal to that of the fingerboard and it is screwed in, the rear is not slotted, its surface-mounted and its height matches the pickups height and brass like original hw
