    I wouldn't think it does anything, going to empty pins. Maybe it does something on the 500E upwards. Those models have an EQ bypass and a mids EQ switch.

Anyone recognize this little guy? 30" scale, but what's up with that Jackson looking headstock? Picked it a couple of years ago and haven't seen another like it until I came across this pic on the net.
