I wouldn't think it does anything, going to empty pins. Maybe it does something on the 500E upwards. Those models have an EQ bypass and a mids EQ switch.

For a long time, this question has been on Warwick-fans' minds. Can you make a Warwick FNA/$$/M style bass sound like a Stingray? The answer is quite simply, a good one.

Guitar Center gets a lot of guff for having cruddy techs who don't care. But I've learned more from this guy in a year than a lot of people learn about teching in their entire lives. This guy legitimately cares about you leaving with an instrument that works, and he's not afraid to sit down with ya and explain exactly what he's doing, and what you should do to keep it working well.
