    I wouldn't think it does anything, going to empty pins. Maybe it does something on the 500E upwards. Those models have an EQ bypass and a mids EQ switch.

This pedal alone is sufficient for a Gig. Paired with the Jazz bass, it cuts through the mix like hot knife through butter. It has also made my practice amp redundant thanks to the built-in Headphone out. At almost every gig so far, the sound guys would ask me about it. I love this thing.
