Rafael thank you. I have tried to clean what I can but I was not able to clean the exposed wood inside thoroughly. I was thinking the smell should come out. I never thought about locking the smell in. I will pick up some KILZ and lock in the funk.

Thank you. I tried the Fabreeze. It did not work. The amp ended up smelling like mildew and Fabreeze.

How about a little help from some one that has had luck removing the smell.

I recently picked up a little combo amp that had been tucked away in a basement. The amp sound good but it smells like under the house funk. Does any one have any tips to get the smell out.

I would stay away from Finale. I bought the 2009 version and have yet to get it to work and their tech line is no help. The program will not play back. I had to get Sibelius, witch I am very happy with.

+1 for Sibelius. I received Finale 2009 for X-mas and was very unhappy with it, the program would crash the play back was intermittent and there were too many "bugs". Not what you would expect from such expensive software.
