just grabbed a svt II and an ampeg 8x10 off Craig's list for 500 of my parents hard earned dollars! (christmas is good when they forget your birthday). the head is quantitties! figured out why it was for sale; the head gets weird after about 20 minutes. the sound gets distorted and varies...

Just grabbed a svt II rack mount and a 810e today for 500 bucks (Craig's list). ripped tolex the amp works fantastic for about 20 minutes then starts to distort and vary in volume. i think it's a power tube. looked in the back and a one seems to be glowing blue when signal is applied...
