I am a long time guitarist (composer, producer, etc.), but I also play a lot of other instruments. Among them - bass.
Bass was always an instrument I used to record that "low background" for my songs.
But, little before this apocalypse, a local company asked me to do a short review on some Sire basses. I said ok. Got one to try it at home and to get familiar with it, and then I realized what it's all about with the bass.
Quick I found TalkBass site, where I learned that I should sell my old bass and get that Sire.
Then quickly I realized I need to change my amp and then I realized I need to learn bass.
So, practically it's almost a half of year that the bass is my main instrument.
