Hi, Bruce, I am just seeing your responses to a thread about Baby Basses and found something interesting. On one that I use now, it came with a thinner rubber, clear bridge piece. It still has that thump but not quite as much as I like as I do play Latin gigs with it. I haven't been able to find an original one. Any advice ?

i just came into an immaculate 5 string baby bass! its amazing , but needs the rubber piece you so masterfully craft...might i be able to purchase one from you? many many thanks

I'm looking for the same part, the rubber piece that fits between the strings and bridge on the Ampeg BB)
Did you find it? if so, might there be another one at your source? I'm also interested in a Bridge Protector.
