They do sound alike, the gibson is warmer but the epiphone sounds good, stays in tune and feels like the gibson... If you're getting one for fun you can't go wrong with it. I've played a SG epiphone too and it was great as well

I have no idea, SX has like 3 or 4 different headstocks from what I've been seeing

I mentioned the set up and they offered to do it but it isn't perfect, the intonation is fine according to my knowledge, no noticeable buzz or dead notes and the action is low but you can see it start to rise at the 12th fret, I'll take it to my local guitar shop to see if they can do a better...

Sometimes less is more, he didn't play anything flashy or super technical but his fills were genius and fit the songs perfectly

even tho it's good to tune by ear you can get a half decent tuner for like 10/20 bucks that will prevent you from doing that again first time I tuned my guitar I got whipped in the face with the string, learned the hard way
