NATBD - Newly Assembled Tribute Bass Day

I've been working on completing this project for a while. I finished installing the pickups and the bridge last night, so I thought I'd share the completed work.
BACK STORY: This bass has been modified and customized in memory of our beloved dog, Biscuit, who died in February 2015.
ARTWORK: For years, my wife Kelly has drawn an adorable doodle of Biscuit. Right before he died, I had Kelly draw the doodle on the top of the headstock of this bass. That was the genesis of the project. When this became more of a "dedication bass," my wife REALLY wanted to create a special pickguard for it. She took to her skills in digital art and created a fantastic blue pattern based on a portrait of Biscuit. She hit it out of the park!!!! While I purchased a custom decal for the headstock, it just seemed more fitting to hand-write the Biscuit 'brand.'
THE BASS: Started out as a stock 2014 Squier Vintage Modified Jazz bass with a maple fingerboard.
MODIFICATIONS: Mighty Mite neck, custom pickguard, authentic Fender jazz bass knobs and control plate, EMG J-Set pickups, Gotoh 201B bridge. Only remaining Squier parts are the body, tuners, string tree and neck plate.
The EMG pickup install took a long while. The paper instructions are confusing and the new "guts" don't want to fit in the control cavity with a battery. Routing a battery cavity is not in my skill set, but it is highly advisable.
