    Markbass Piezo Tweeter

I've used a Markbass 121p mini combo for the past 2 years and have not had any problems. Yes the piezo tweeter can sound hissy in a quiet room but is easily tamed with a touch of VLE. In the practice or gig situation the hiss has never been a concern for me. It just simply can't be heard over...

Not Happy with My New Markbass Rig

I use a LM 2 with one or two 121h cabs. They sound sterile when I practice at home with them and I much prefer my rumble combo for home practice. On the gig it is a whole new ballgame .......I love them! Markbass rocks.;)

    Genz Benz 3.0-8T

Thanks everyone for your help. Sounds like I could probably get by with the 8 inch combo for a monitor most times, unless it got really loud. The 10 inch isn't that much heavier and has the tilt back so I'm leaning toward that.... though I may think about it for a while.

    Genz Benz 3.0-8T

I have a question for those with any experience with this little combo. I am looking for a very,very.......lightweight combo as I have a L5-S1 herniated disc that acts up every once in a while. Maybe the Genz Benz combo with the 3.0 head(175 watts/8ohm) and cab with 8 inch speaker would fit my...

Fender Rumble 100 long drive good deal?

I've had a rumble 100 for 4 years with no problems at all. Excellent tone for a bedroom amp. I have used it with our church band. It gets swamped by a loud drummer but works OK with a quiet group.

112 Decision Time: Bergantino, Epifani, GK

I use 2 Markbass 121H Traveler cabinets with the Little Mark 3 head. It's a great rig and really can cut through the mix. Each cab weighs 34 pounds. These cabs have the compression horns not the piezo tweeters that are on a lot of the Markbass cabs. Here's a video I uploaded to youtube. On...

The Christian Praise and Worship Band Bassists Club Part 7

Stratovani, I know exactly what your saying. We played Woundrous Love on Holy Thursday and I was worrying about this song for weeks. It takes pinpoint concentration. I only missed one or two chord changes so I was happy.

Getting out of riding the root.

I agree with those who point out that for worship music the rhythm is the most important factor. Having a good simple rhythm and playing the root is what most songs call for. I wouldn't feel bad about just playing the root for the majority of the songs. For many worship songs just playing...

    Hum through PA

Thanks for the input. I don't believe the amp has a low/high input switch on it-just a ground switch. I am sure the hum is from my amp, not from another source because I noticed it with nothing else plugged into the PA except my amp. I am thinking I just have to buy another di. I am...

    Hum through PA

I play a passive Fender Jazz bass for my church. Usually I connect my bass to an active di to the PA system. An electric guitarist will be joining us and will also need an active di-problem is we only have one in the church. The other night I tried to use the line out on my Markbass combo to...
