Soundcloud, or Other Site best for mp3's?

Question. I want to upload a bunch of old mp3's from some of my old bands so folks can listen to them. Which is the best place to do that? I've heard of Soundcloud, but don't know anything about it. Is it any good? Are there any other similar critters which would be better? How's your...

    Crossover Voodoo

I have a friend who's in that field here in Colorado. Those modern high-tech board are really amazing. Most of them, I believe, have negligible current requirements, and get away with incredibly small traces. That whole enterprise is obviously a lot different that what's happening here... Andy

    Crossover Voodoo

Of course, damping factor is load impedance divided by source impedance, but power transfer itself is about Ohm's law, nothing else. As an aside, my understanding of the whole concept of the "transmission line" loudspeaker, in which the backwave is completely absorbed, is based on RF antenna...

Don't ask me what he's talking about. I haven't the foggiest. That said, any resistive component has an energy loss associated with it. Andy

    Crossover Voodoo

Hey- I've got one for you speaker buffs. I posted some pictures of one of my crossovers on my FB page, and got a few comments. Check the comment I got from a guy: "I would add some connectors and signal buffers to isolate the crossover and reduce current pulled from the driver." To...

Replacement Woofers for SWR Goliath II?

A local backline company asked me what woofers would be good replacements for the blown ones in their Goliath cab. Apparently you can't get the genuine ones anymore. Anybody have a good recommendation? Thanks, Andy
