TC Sentry is most effective by placing any noise inducing pedals in the send/return loop of the Sentry. IMO this is the only way to use this pedal to it's full potential. Beyond this, if needed, use the tone print editor to make a custom preset tailored to your needs.

Still use my spectracomp every time I play. Only thing I wish it had was the ability to store one or two more presets in it with say a toggle or button to select. Tho I do understand why it doesn't as that would have driven the price up. It is an extremely deceiving pedal, only one control knob...

I'm using 45-105 DDTs in standard tuning on a 35" scale bass. If you use them on a short scale bass you would certainly end up with the major diameter of the string on the tuning post, I've read that this could be problematic on larger gage strings. I have no personal experience with that so...

I'm a loyal DR guy, Nothing but SS Lo Riders or DDT's for the last 15 years. I put off trying the DDT's for a long time and now I think they have taken the #1 spot for me over the Lo Riders. Great strings!

@oldblue Nice looking B-204:drool: Sounds like you got a good deal, very nice. Do keep the bridge clean, I started getting corrosion almost 2 years in. Admittedly I did fail to wipe it down after gigs quite a bit. My B gets way more playtime than either of the D's :thumbsup:

I've been using SS Lo Riders on all my basses for the last 12 years. A few months ago I finally tried the DDTs and have now left Lo Riders in the past as the DDTs have a better growl to my ear, and the tuning stability and intonation across the board are both improved. Wish I tried the DDTs sooner.
