I run a Boss ODB (set to high gain) into a tech 21 VT Bass (set on clean but punchy) and that works for me. The VT bass (as the previous poster says) has some great driving tones on its own. The ODB changes dramatically depending on settings either side of your chain so give it a good workout...

What's your personal favourite on a Super 12? Purely based on having to carry it half a mile and it being compact & loud?

Those were my initial thoughts. I tried the Terror 500 head and had that experience. Wondered if the GK may add a bit of volume & bite. Cheers for the response, much appreciated mate.
