Oh, and if you sit in your car for long periods of time for whatever reason, it fits quite nicely between the player and the steering wheel. But of course, only when parked! :-p

I was playing mine just yesterday. 6 string is the way to go, much fun can be had, Just think of it a a cross between a piccolo bass and a short scale guitar... which it is neither, but kinda sorta in that area so to speak...

ollbass, there should be no issue moving string sets back and forth. Especially as the "UP" version uses what looks like standard double bass tuners. Should not be an issue any more than moving strings between double basses.

I dunno much about the Stomp, but I use the Line 6 HX Effects as a pre amp with great success. Depending on the gig (anything from Jazz to Worship hymnal arrangements) I find it pretty easy to dial in any tone necessary. I will say however, I find it necessary to cut everything above 4khz as...

Hilarious jnuts1, very tempting, except it still wouldn't fit in the case tho. I need to lose about 3/4 inch so I'll have padding at the top of the headstock, and the neck will sit flush with the neck relief thing shaped object in the case.

"Are you embarrassed by having an SX?" Nope, quite proud actually. This Rondo SX sounds wonderful to me! But the headstock reminds me of Gumby as well. And while the bass will fit in my SKB case, as much as I can cram it in there, the top of the headstock lies over the padding, butting right up...
